Buying game currency safely

Game currency is usually delivered in game, to a character you name.
Check the server and faction
Currency belongs to one server (and sometimes one faction). Choose it in the purchase box; the price shown is for that server.
Read the delivery method
Listings say how the seller delivers. For in-game handovers you will need to be online with the character you named.
Protect your account
No one needs your password to give you currency. Messages that look like passwords or sign-in codes are refused in chat.
Confirm only what you received
The marketplace holds your payment until you confirm that you received what you bought. The seller is paid only after that confirmation. If something is wrong, use Report a problem on the order instead of confirming.
